Robotron at Downstream 2021

Energy

Successful exchange on future energy trends

Downstream is New Zealand's leading event for the energy industry. Every year, this industry event offers insights into current challenges and opportunities in the energy sector. Key topics include grid performance, distributed energy, the changing energy supply landscape, regulated markets, emissions, new technologies and customer trends.

The Robotron New Zealand team was once again an exhibitor at the industry's main event for 2021 and was able to impress numerous interested parties with the presentation of Robotron’s solutions. The team had the following topics in store for the approximately 400 event attendees:

  • The Robotron Energy Market Platform for comprehensive energy data management - from advanced meter reading to billing
  • The Robotron-IoTHub4Utilities as a data hub and communication platform for IoT applications in the energy and utilities industry
  • The Robotron SMART Campus, a showcase of intelligent feed-in and load management, peak shaving and charging management at Robotron's headquarters in Dresden, Germany

Further highlights of the event were a dinner including an address by New Zealand's Energy Minister Megan Woods. Visitors to the Robotron stand could demonstrate their skills as future energy managers by playing a game modelled on Robotron’s SMART Campus.

We wanted to thank all visitors and interested parties for the interesting discussions and are now looking forward to continuing the success story of event participation in the follow-up phase as well.
