A consultant is THE ambassador between our development and the New Zealand energy market. In an internship you will join customer meetings to identify a customer’s requirements. You will learn about the New Zealand energy market, about individual and flexible software development and configuration, and about daily processes in a small software company.

  • Main focus: conceptual work and support of projects
  • One or more of the following topics will be supported by you: billing and invoice verification, offer calculation, market communication, interface consulting, smart metering
  • Advice to our customers about our products
  • Identification of new requirements and mapping of these to existing or new functions and processes
  • Ideally, you will be able to perform minor programmatic adjustments and configurations or support the development process with guidance from our developers
  • Participating in workshops in the context of products related to the Robotron energy market platform and to product-independent topics in the energy sector
job requirements:
  • Degree or ongoing studying in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or business studies (focus on energy industry)
  • Strong customer orientation and communication skills
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Knowledge about the New Zealand energy market is an advantage, but not compulsory
  • Experience in modelling software systems and basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL are beneficial
